Nisus has developed and strictly enforces a client evaluation
and selection process to analyze proposed engagements and monitor
current assignments. While this limits our clients to a fraction
of those seeking our services, it strengthens our overall practice.
Nisus will not accept any client whose competitiveness it considers
low, or for whom it is not confident a satisfactory result can
be reasonably achieved. Nor will we represent any client whose
matter overlaps or conflicts in any way with another client's.
This prevents a common headhunting occurrence where candidates
compete with each other for scarce opportunities. In addition
to the obvious benefits to our client, our approach also benefits
employers, who are presented with a single uniquely qualified
candidate who Nisus believes is among the strongest available.
Nisus will not offer its representation services to any professional
about whom this cannot be argued. Only by adhering to these guidelines
and principles can Nisus maintain the level of service and effectiveness
our clients demand and deserve.
Becoming A Nisus Client
Clearly, our approach and services are not for everyone. Nor are
they intended to be. Much of our success can be attributed to
our strict client evaluation and selection process. We recognize
that our approach is best suited to a specific type of professional,
and understand that our methods are either inappropriate or unsuitable
to all but a segment of active professionals. No firm can be all
things to all people. Our goal is a simple one: To offer the best professionals the best representation. Period.
